Fr Raimundo Costa

Message From the Diocesan Coordinator, Schoenstatt Movement of North Texas

Hello! Welcome to North Texas Schoenstatt website. I want to welcome you, to introduce myself and, over all, to give you a message about the motto that we have as a Texas Schoenstatt Family for the next year.

I am Fr. Raimundo Costa and have been the NT Schoenstatt Family coordinator for almost two years . I belong to the Schoenstatt Fathers community. I was raised Catholic by my parents as the third of three siblings. I received the faith through my family, my school and my friends. But I went deeper when I discovered the Schoenstatt Movement during my university studies in Chile.

Through the Covenant of Love with the Blessed Mother I received the biggest gift of my life, the vocation to the priesthood. Every day I thank the Lord for this amazing and precious path.

I have been living in Texas for two years, serving the Schoenstatt Movement in Austin, where I live, and also in The Dallas Fort Worth area, Houston, San Antonio, and beginning November, in Miami as well. I really like what I am doing, but at the same time I know that it is a lot of responsibility. You all are in my daily prayers, please keep me in your prayers too!

“Take this picture of the Blessed Mother and give it a place of honor in your home. Then your home will become a little shrine in which the picture of grace will mediate many graces, create a holy family atmosphere, and form holy family members.”

Founder of Schoenstatt
